Fairgrounds Use Meeting Tuesday Night; Listen in and Sound Off!

Dear Health and Fitness Fans,
Come out on Tuesday night, to help transform the fairgrounds into a very cool and happening place on South Whidbey.
Community participation is so healthy and helpful for bringing order and direction to complicated political-community situations like this.
Excerpted from the Port Of South Whidbey’s website:

Fairgrounds: We Want to Hear from You!
What do you want to see & do at the Island County Fairgrounds… when the Fair is not in progress?

Upcoming Forums:
September 15th 7:00 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Pole Building

The Port of South Whidbey has assumed the role of property manager of the Island County Fairgrounds. For information about the Whidbey Island Area Fair, go to http://www.whidbeyislandfair.com/.

Vibrant Fitness would love to have any or all of you there to support the healthy movement space that we have created!
This is the forum where the governing bodies want to hear from YOU!
Is there a way to use the Fairgrounds to serve the community, and make money to pay for its upkeep, preservation, and improvement?
Or should it stand empty and unused(at the taxpayers expense), 11 months of the year?

Comments from the public in meetings like these often carry a lot of weight in determining future courses of action.

Join me there to gain insight into the political and other factors that are at play in determining

the future of this excellent and under-utilized public property.

You can also make your voice heard.

Let the interested parties know if you think it is a great place for a fitness center and other indoor and outdoor activities.

Let them know if you think it would be great to have a fitness center there open year-round, through the winter and maybe even during the fair itself!

Functional fitness exhibitions and experiences could be a wonderful addition to our Island County fair experience!

This Tuesday, September 15, at 7 pm

Would LOVE to see you there.

Thanks for all of your support!

Gratefully,
Adam
